hello:)
I'm back:P
so new coach of polish national team is Jacek Adrian - probably coach with the biggest knowledge from polish area...Happy
season in Poland will start in 2-3 weeks. probably it's end of Grunwald and Pocztowiec times in Poland. Now AZS AWF Poznan is comparable team to those who won titles in last years... League will be definetely more interesting.

We have got new team on the map of polish hockey. After few years Stella Gniezno will play in second league. Team with biggest hockey traditions in Poland. Coach of young team from Gniezno will be Rafal Grotowski, one of best polish players in last years...

And in the end something about Poles who play abroad - Miro Juszczak won't play in Laren next season. He moved to Union Nijmegen...
Maciej Walkowiak from Warta Poznan will play in one team with Jerome Happy

regards;)

I'll be his president! Thanks again for your help Gocu!
This year we'll have a very strong team with 5-6 new players (4 french, 1 polish and I hope 1 from New-Zealand)!
BTW, maciej told me that he played against Ukrainia U21 last week-end.
Do you have more details about it?

hello again
so we have started a league...
first time for ages Pocztowiec Poznan is not a favourite team in polish league. In my opinion Grunwald and AZS have got better teams than Poczta. Main transfer of this year is Tomek Gorny (22 years old polish national team player who won 2nd place in Indoor WC in Vienna and also plays in outdoor national team) who moved from Pocztowiec Poznan to AZS Poznan. Also Marcin Michniak doesn't play in Poczta (end of career), next national team player - Darek Malecki moved from Pocztowiec to Polonia Sroda Wielkopolska.

we are after two days of matches. AZS, Grunwald, Pocztowiec and Pomorzani won their first matches in polish league
regards:)

Hi:)
after 4 days of matches again Grunwald and Pocztowiec are on the lead of polish league:)

POlish national team played tournament in Ukraine - they have won with Ukraine 4-1, with Belarus 7-1 and with Azerbejdzan (I don't know how to write it in english:D) 11-0.

They went with young team without any players who normally play abroad...

I have heard that Czapla and Maciek started to score goals for Lyon. Did They Jerome?Happy

I remember that U have asked for this and somwehere I havr answered:)
it depends what team will go on indoor WC - there are three or four experienced players who are U21 and they play good indoor hockey, probably goalkepper also won't be bad but it's hard to say.
in my opinion we are without any chances to host European Indoor Championship - to week president of polish hockey - not known in the world...
regards

Gocu

now when yo say it i remember it sorry for asking again  Tongue

but since all the other locations have been handed out i recon none in our championship have asked to host the competition and usually the competitions are hosted by teams that hope to promote or stay in the division they are at and personaly i think poland would like to host because of the first reason

Czesc Gocu,

What do you think of the Polish teams' progress in the EHL so far? Pocztoweic could not have had a more difficult group, they were very unlucky with the draw Sad but Grunwald should qualify?

How is the Polish league looking? I know that Grunwald and Pocztoweic are first and second... (pierpczse i druger Confused) but how are AZS Poznan looking so far?

Sorry I missed that!
As you can see, Czapla has scored 4 goals in 3 games :

I think that Maciej has scored only once...
But he plays rather in the middle, while Czapla play center-forward or left striker.

Hello!
As U have seen polish teams didn't play well - Grunwald was far far better than Pocztowiec and they didn't play bad during match with HBC. Of course they were worse than dutch team but they have played a little bit unlucky, and short corners of Taeke Taekema were really big factor of this big win.

Pocztowiec is worse than one season ago. Because of bad politics in club a few national players moved to oter clubs , a few older players finished with professional hockey and now they play in smaller clubs. From last year they don't have: Martin Michniak (end of career), Darek Malecki (Polonia Sroda Wielkopolska), Tomasz Gorny, Peter Kozlowski, Karol Majchrzak (AZS AWF Poznan). from next year Rafal Grotowski and Peter Mikula probably will finish with prof. hockey...

AZS AWF? It's getting stronger and stronger - now our league is more interesting than one year ago cause there are four teams in comparable level (Grunwald, Pocztowiec, AZS and team from Torun - Pomorzanin).

In next 2-3 seassons probably AZS will be the best team in Poland. Maybe in next year they will play in Eurohockeyleague?
