Was anyone also in Leipzig 4 years ago. I would like to know what differences were between this two tournaments?

I mean it was the first event about this size in Austria. So I am really interested if you enjoyed the tournament. Was the organisation good and so on...?

Most players I talked to, said that they enjoyed it really and no one complained about anything. :-)

didn't see much of it, but the floor colour and ball colour made it hard to see on TV  Frown

even when they switched to the green ball

yeah i have to agree about the problems about the balls meybe a bright red or pink ball would have been the best choice but other than that everything looked really good

Unfortunately we have not a lot of experience with TV in Austria because it does not occur often that games are on TV. :-(

In leipzig, they used a yellow ball on a green floor, it was much better on TV... Yes

If only that were true. The fact of the matter is this sport, especially the indoor variety, will not survive without television revenue and audiences. We needed the IWC to be a hit on TV, and it was a struggle for anyone with anything less than a 32" LCD/plasma screen to find the ball at any point in the play. I doubt that we'll hear good news about viewship from this one, unlike the great numbers reported the recent outdoor WCs.
