Welcome, this post has all the coaching tools you need to have. If you have more templates please add them on this thread.

Indoor Coaching

Indoor Formations by Rudiger Hanel
For anyone of you who don't know Rudiger, he is an FIH Master Coach and probably the best Indoor Coach ever. He made this great presentation for the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup Coaching Course. I personally believe its one of the best presentations of indoor hockey formations, it's very detailed and to the point.

Using Boards
A good training sheet from an FIH Indoor Coaching Course based only on how to use boards.

Flicking
PowerPoint Presentation on how to flick properly. Very detailed explanation!

Indoor Hockey
PowerPoint presentation on general information about indoor hockey.

Positioning
PowerPoint presentation on positioning information on indoor hockey.

Strategy
PowerPoint presentation on strategy information on indoor hockey.

Coaching Templates

Full Pitch Template
A great coaching tool from England Hockey. If you don't want to user your beloved white board this is the sheet you are going to use the most. Simple but very effective!

Half Pitch Template
Same as above but this time as Half Pitch

Match Analysis Template
Very simple template which let's you write notes easily and in a very quick way. Ideal for coaches who like to write points during matches.

Penalty Corners Template
One of the most used templates ever. Easy to draw Penalty Corner setups of offensive andj diffensive play.

England Hockey Team Sheet
Not very useful outside England but its good to have. Most Association have their own Team Sheet.

Player Assesment Template
Very important sheet for those who want to track their player's improvements.

Playing Skills Inventory
This inventroy is designed to allow you to rate the listed skills as you see yourself performing them in match situation. To be filled by player.

Dear All,

The Hockey New Zealand website under the Coaching Section has all the FIH Master Coach papers presented at the 2006 Monchengladbach World Cup.  Just go there and download all the papers.  Some are excellent and some not so good, especially
those from non-English background tend to have their message lost in the translation.

Kind Regards,

Hi As well as being an excellent indoor coach i have been to a development course and a high performance course with Rudi. He is excellent a mine of information and if you need help with tours to Germany he will assist by putting you in touch with all the right people and at the right level for your club.
Hope you all get the presintations open. If you get the chance see him at work on the pitch. A star.
