playing div 2 for warrnambool open team - may fill in a game or 2 for vets
our first game is not until 2ish sat could be a big night for some of the boys Happy

Yes that they did - were dam hard to play and not "munchkins" either taller than me dam it!
We lost 4-0 to them in the final but was a good game - shame we could not put the ball in the net when we had our chances.
For Warrnambool to make two finals we were VERY happy - shame we could not win a final though

Is country week only for country based players? I ask because in NSW they changed the system that meant if you grew up playing hockey in a country association, at the state championships you have to represent that "home" association, whether you now play in sydney or perth as was the case with Livermore, who represents Grafton. This was done to ensure the state championships were good and fair. Sydney dominated for so long because they naturally had all the best players available, now the country associations compete on a level playing field against the guys from the big smoke.
