The Mexico City Hockey Association  (AHDF) and the Mexican Hockey Federation (FMH), would like to invite all interested teams to participate in the:

Mexico 68  Masters  Cup

as part of the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Mexico 1968 Olympic Games,

1.    VENUE    

AHDF HOCKEY STADIUM (WATERBASED ASTROTURF)
PUERTA 2, CIUDAD DEPORTIVA DE LA MAGDALENA MIXHUCA
VELÓROMO OLÍMPICO “AGUSTÍN MELGAR”
DELEGACIÓN VENUSTIANO CARRANZA
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO

2.    DATES   

17 –19 OCTOBER 2008.

3.    CATEGORY   MEN MASTER

500 years or over on the field per team.
The Mexico‘68 Master’s Cup will have the participation of a combined team formed by the 1968 and 1972 Mexican Olympic Hockey Team players and the 1967 -1983 Pan American Hockey Team players.
 
4.    INSCRIPTION

If you are interested, please register your team by sending an email to:
mexico68masters@hockeydemexico.com
from May 31’08 up to September 20’08 

5.              ENTRY FEE   

250.00 USD per team

6.    OFFICIAL DINNER  

The AHDF will hold an official dinner for all players participating in the tournament, on Saturday October 18, 2008 at 8:00 PM with a cost of 60.00 USD  per person.      

7.     TRANPORTATION

Ground transportation between the hockey venue and your hotel will be provided with no extra charge for you.

8.      ACCOMODATION AND MEALS

On your own expense. We can help you book the best place for your stay.

Mexico City is an ideal location for an extended stay, with a lot of tourist points of all kinds and important archeological sites in town or close by like Taxco, Teotihuacán and Acapulco. Therefore,  plan 3 or 4 more days to take this opportunity to visit them before or after the tournament. If you decide to do so, we can help you book tours in or around Mexico City upon your arrival.

9.    INSURANCE    

Even though hockey is played with considerations for others, it can still be a dangerous sport. Therefore, it is recomended that you hold an international health insurance service. The AHDF is not to be hold responsible for anything that happens while practicing this sport.

It would be a great pleasure to welcome you in Mexico City. With your help, we will do our best to make it an unforgettable occasion.
