So there's more coverage of field hockey on CBC in the coming 24 hours than I could have imagined...

Check the schedule which indicates they will show GER v CHN and PAK v GB on cbcsports.ca channel 4, then CAN v AUS on CBC TV (presumably partial coverage) and then full coverage on cbcsports.ca channel 5.

There's also a great little documentary by Don Whittman on the team featuring Wettlaufer, Gabbar and Ravi on the video player.

Current watching GER v CHN on CBC Sports (China just scored!) - the video was choppy on my MacBook Air but fine one my last gen iMac. Saving, however... haven't figured that out yet.

You should clearly just get up and watch it.  I did it last night for the USA women's game.   Tongue

Not only did I get up but I also recorded it on my PVR IN HD - man, was that exciting! Now I just have to figure out how to get the games off my PVR. I think I've got the right gadget already.

Disappointingly, the broadcast of the game on CBCsports.ca channel 5 was blacked out - I wonder if that's because they decided to show full coverage on TV? - so I wasn't able to capture it as I did the GBR v PAK game (fhf4me - using SnapZProX) (missed GER v CHN as I was still trying to figure everything out).

As disappointing (yet not surprising) as the result was against Aus, it was amazing to watch the game from start to finish with no interruptions.

I was equally pleased to hear the encouraging comments made by the CBC broadcasters at half time and how much they like this under dog team.  Let's hope some momentum is built from this.

Even though I'm a zombie today, I'm ready for the next game vs. Pakistan!

Go Canada go!!!

Hey BC, you might want to chime in on the CAN v AUS - Match Comments thread, which I figured would get more exposure than just us Canadian members of FHF. Happy

Is anyone else having trouble viewing games on the cbcsports.ca video player? Since GB v PAK I've been getting nothing but the introductory ad and then black space - and that's all events now including hockey. Sad
