i'm sorry if i'm about to offend someone but SERIOUSLY how can you class lewis hamilton as an athlete?! he drives a car around a track! the car has the speed, yeah he is an AMAZING driver, no dig at that, but i do not consider driving a car SPORT!
sport and athleticism actually implies u gettin off ya butt n doing something!

dude... watch the top gear episode where hammond tries to drive an F1 car...

it's a LOT of effort and you've got to be seriously fit and strong to control it...

I'm not a fan of F1 but it's definitely more than just sitting on your butt

totally agree its so demanding on the body. I never used to think it was a sport until i tried racing a car once...so much strength has to used to control it, and then do it at 200mph.

dude... watch the top gear episode where hammond tries to drive an F1 car...

That one is hilarious Happy Couldn't even get the car on the track with the first 4 attempts, the engine always stalled Happy

Su*x, to give you a better idea, have a read here, it's in general what an F1 athlete would go through during a race and how they prepare themselves.
