Hey you 'murcans:

I'm currently touring with the Durham University Hockey Club ladies' team (as their umpire) in the NE. We landed in Boston yesterday and the girls played their first game today against Holy Cross to a 3-3 draw.

Here's the rest of the schedule as it stands now (I'll try to edit it as best I can as changes are made), so if you happen to be the the area and would like to see some good collegiate hockey and say hi to me, that would be really cool. Happy

  • Monday Aug. 25 - DUHC v Boston University @MIT - 7pm
  • Wed. Aug. 27 - DUHC v UConn - 4pm
  • Fri. Aug. 29 - DUHC v Columbia - 12pm
  • Sun. Aug. 31 - DUHC v UPenn @Drexel - 3:30pm
  • Mon. Sept. 1 - DUHC v Princeton - 12pm

Sorry you aren't dipping a little further south, but hope it goes well for you and the team!

Getting warmer! Pity it is start of season. We have a game on that Sunday when you will be closest to me.

Durham is "a few kilometres from the border with Scotland" TOTC!?  It's 130km.  That may be a short distance in American terms, but over here that's practically on the other side of the country!!

Nice article though.

BTW, how's the tour going K?
