I remember one of my defenders doing a very similar tackle a few years back.  He didn't have the misfortune of the match being replayed on TV though and escaped without any punishment.

No, it doesn't work for me either.  Maybe they've deleted it as they've sorted out the BBC Sports News pages now that the Olympics are over?

I recorded that game and had to replay it a few times just to make sure i wasn't seeing things, crazy tackle, 'umps i got the ball?'

The Canadian did try and go through, rather than round him. If Tindall hadn't deliberatley straightened up to throw the Candaian off him, the foul should have gone Tindall's way.
