I was claiming on the "deliberate" part, the first foot maybe wasn't, but kicking it away after was!! Would never have said the other one was a PF, I'd agree with your interpretation on using your hand - except for one problem, our guys would have missed anyway!!! But it should have been a short for dangerous... which would have saved a goal for you (not that one goal would have made a difference!!!)

Some of your ump's decisions did seem to be bordering on the harsh side of the rules, not my defender-friendly umpire that i usually like  Tongue

And yeah, the defender's union line on any goal is that if unless you put the ball in the goal yourself - it's the keeper's fault (and even then possibly still his fault!  Yes)

Perhaps harsh isn't the correct word, i'd agree the umpiring was quite relaxed - think it was more his interpretation on some of the rules I found a bit different! To give him his due, he was effectivly doing the entire game himself, our umpire appeared to have lost his whistle at some points in that game!! Shocked

Ahh well, only another week and a half until the real task begins, should be interesting!!

Lol... was that at DISC? 1st goal? yup... that goal has a fair few hours on a pitch with a ball machine, tennis balls, lacrosse stick and other random bits of kit to answer for!! Rolleyes but hey, my hands are a helluva lot better now, so in a way - thanks!

I heard Scott was going to Kelburne?
Western haves signed Ian Moodie and Richard Docherty but apparently Kris Kane has wrecked his knee down in England at the weekend.

Richard Docherty to Western - I'm assuming you mean Western Ladies? He won't join Western! Kris Kane has more than a wrecked knee - a heid as well! I'm sure he's fine though!

I think we are going to have another shit start to the season again. We get broken on the counter in all the time so hopefully we can solve that problem. I cant remember our game at home against you. Remember the away one as we played alright and then you scored from a short with about 2 left and if i recall the umpires werent very good but then they never are.

Richard is away to Western and as for Scott Sutherland there's a good chance he may end up in Holland this year.

Cala are seriously struggling this season even if Scott stays.

Top level is hard to call this year. I think the Kelburne team is nearing the end of it's cycle but may have too much in the bank still for Western, who is coaching at both teams?
Perhaps this is the year that Inverlieth produce something. Harper going to Grange is a good bit of business for them. Don't see anyone else pushing on.
Top six teams:

Inverlieth, Western, Grange, Kelburne, Menzieshill, Wanderers.

Clydesdale and Gordons to be safe

The rest fighting it out for safety.

Um apparently Clydesdale have a strong team this year. Gordonians may stay safe but have lost a few players and have pulled in other players from Aberdeen teams so will be quite a changed team.

You are talking about a league that has not been won out side of Kelburne and Western for over a decade. It is as predictable as the SPL.
No-one other than those two will win it unless a serious financial backer comes forward.

Sad but true...

Who is coaching them though?
