 Happy
Hey all, just wanted to pop back in to thank all of you for your help. While my wallet is hurting, Rachel is finally all kitted up. Got the robo hot pants, the hi rebound leg guards (ebay from hockeyfactoryshop.com, Jason was a huge help on info too)  and it was also for a great deal, nice Mercian znake stick, an AMAZING helmet from Stacey (talk about the nicest person on the planet!! and a lifetime helmet!!), and scored huge on the obo Nov sale for hands and kickers. Even got her the goalie manual that Kathleen Partridge wrote, which is really a terrific guide to have. Her coaches all want her to share that one...hmmm.
whew...she can forget about Santa coming this year...LOL.
She ended up getting honorable mention for All Stars, her teams record was abysmal really, but she kept them in the games with 158 season saves, so she still can be proud of herself at this point. Of course, I'm happy to live vicariously thru her and still don't quite know how to figure out what much of the refs are calling!!
Anyway, thanks again everyone, have a great one!!

Not sure where you are, but you may want to sign her up for camps or clinics at the D1 schools in New York or New England. they usually run some during the summers.

I wish they recorded stats like that over here, all we ever get are top scorer lists!

yep, on all counts from the missing list, those were three of the four things we didn't have to replace as we'd done that already...whew..and Andy..if you would move in and do some chores around here, there's always room for one more, especially a good duster, vaccummer and clothes folder!! would you walk dogs and help with our parrots too?

She's going to a camp about 5 hours away in July (Emmaus PA, East Coast Field Hockey) but great thought about D1 schools, I'll have to do some fishing around. She also does the Futures program, so at least she's doing something with field hockey about 10 months out of the year. Kinda cool that she likes it that much, I wouldn't ever force it on her.

Lots of D1 schools will have camps, including most of the Boston-area schools. uconn probably does as well.

We're an hour from Syracuse, went to see them play Princeton yesterday in the cold..wow, great game, but holy cold wet metal seats!
Anyway, going to see if they run a camp too hate to keep driving all over creation if we can avoid it. Boston is 5 hours east, UConn another 5 or so...seems nothing is nearby
