Guys, is there an issue with the rep points database?  I noticed a comment from Justin tonight that he'd got a message saying that there was a 'database error' when he tried to award Keely a rep point.  I've had this message too recently when awarding the points, yet on each occasion that it has popped up the individual's rep points have increased and my 'reason' was showing on their profile...  Justin's point for Keely is showing on her profile too.

Just a minor glitch, presumably?

I can report having this problem regularly as well. Since the rep points have always shown up I haven't bothered, thinking maybe the problem was limited to me.

Just to exclude any interaction with the permissions changes - were you seeing it before the permissions changes were made last weekend?

It certainly happened last time I awarded a rep point, which was on 27 August.

Actually, that might be it. I gave one negative and four positive points today, and from my rough recollection, the positives brought up the error but the negative did not.
