UK based members may be interested to know that the Hockey Writers Club is taking nominations for the Higgins Youth Awards. The Awards are open to any young person in hockey, whether they be a player, umpire, coach or volunteer.  They will have to be under the age of 18 on the 31 December to qualify and nominations close on 30 November.
