My team won our finals

We had not beaten the other team all season. We normally lost to them 7-4ish

But we played them in the finals and beat them 5-3!

We steam rolled them first half, scoring 4 of our goals. Then scored again early in the 2nd half. And they made a come back scoring 3 goals.

Was epic!

Well, three of our teams made the GF. One team won on penalties and the other 2 lost on penalties (including my team)

Only a few more weeks until indoor starts!!

Brisbane 3rd grade, went down 3-2. our opposition scored 2 PC that were won after midfielders and halfbacks backchatting umpires for calls made in the 25 Sad we also missed a stroke. Grandfinals are all about disipline. congratulations Eastern surburbs.

Good to see also in Brisbane comp a number of clubs taking home major premierships.

We crashed in the prelim final, 5-2.

The opposition had a golden first 20 minutes, scoring 4 goals. Every time the ball went inside the circle, it fell to one of thier players. Was some of the best luck I have ever seen. Deflections off posts, keepers, defenders, it all fell into place and always found a player who 2 seconds before would ordinarily have been out of the play. Was amazing to witness, albeit a little dissapointing from my point of view.

We got back to 4-2 at half time, but thier younger legs meant 2nd half they kept going, we ran outta legs. Always next year  Happy

We finally won!

After runners up in '04, '06 & '07 (and getting knocked out of the prelim in '05) it's nice to finally pinch one!

Booya!
