The David Kidney U21 Tournament, was held in Bandon today.
The three teams competing, Bandon, Cork Harlequins and Cork C of I competed in a high standard tournament.
The under strenght Harlequins lost both matchs but considering their injuries it was a stirling performance from them.
The decider was an exciting match with a very high level of skill.
The neutrals felt that Bandon just edged it but the C of I team led by Coach Dermot Judge edged it 2-1.
In the conditions all teams should take heart from the standard of hockey they produced.
