Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are any plans for the EHL to be broadcast on british TV (either terrestrial or digital)??

My guess is that it will probably be on Eurosport like it was last season. Either way I'll still have to rely on the (admittedly excellent) highlights on t'internet.  Sad

I've just been looking it up on the EHL website and see that althought here are live matches on European Eurosport2 (there are four whole matches being shown on the first weekend) there is nothing on British Eurosport2. Probably due to Sky paying more for just the highlights package (which aren't listed for the following week on the programme schedule), which are online the following day anyway...  No The UK and Ireland hockey public get a bum deal thanks to inflated bidding.

And there was me thinking that I could get relatives to record it with english commentary for me  Angry

French Eurosport2 will broadcast Pocztowiecz-Egara (25/10 10:30am), Alster-Egara (26/10 10:30) and Amsterdam-Kolos (26/10 12:30).
But no games with St Germain HC!  Sad

French Fed says that EHL website will broadcast live games?
"Pour connaître les résultats en direct et avoir plus d’informations sur cette compétition européenne, consultez le site de l’Euro Hockey League : http://ehlhockey.tv. Les matchs y seront diffusés en Live. "

On the FFH website
Quote
Les matchs y seront diffusés en Live
is not on the same line as the rest of the text that you posted, which gives me the impression that they are talking about TV and not live web streaming.

French Eurosport2 is showing:

Saturday 10.30 Egara (ESP) - KS Pocztowiec Poznan (POL)
Sunday 10.30 an der Alster Hamburg (ALL) - Egara (ESP)
12.30 Amsterdam HC (PBS) - Olimpia Kolos Sekvoia (UKR)

Friday 31, 21.30 highlights Western Wildcats HC (GBR) - Reading (ANG)
Saturday 1/11 10.30 East Grinstead HC (GBR) - Waterloo Ducks HC (BEL)
12.30 Three Rock Rovers HC (Ireland) - KHC Leuven (BEL)

But then, I see that you edited your last post and are already aware of this!

Yes, FFH means that EHL website will stream live games!

But it's really a shame that French Eurosport2 doesn't show either St Germain or Lille MHC!

BTW, I'll probably move to your area next year mister Goody...
I hope you'll have a club for me!

I think that they are sadly mistaken  Sad

Are you sure that you can handle the step down from your nice water based pitch at Gerland to rubbercrumb and grit pitches? (not that I want to put you off, we always need new players!)

The only water-based pitch for the moment in Lyon is at FCLyon.
In Gerland, we have a semi-sand semi-wet pitch, that used to get soaked 5 years ago...
It will depend on where I find a new job. If it's near Montpellier, let's go to MUC!
