Dear friends,

Field Hockey Forum is proud to announce that for the coming season Tempest Hockey will be sponsoring the forum. Tempest Hockey was set up in 2005 to bring across the technical knowledge and service know-how that they have gained from years in working in some of the most demanding sports markets in the world. Constantly looking to raise the bar for what teams can expect, they sponsored and supplied all the playing and training kit for the senior men’s and women’s teams playing in the Indoor Hockey Finals 2005 to launch with a BANG!

They are now the largest supplier of hockey clothing in the UK and currently are the official suppliers to many of the UK’s premier hockey clubs. Cannock, Leicester, Loughborough, Hightown, Olton, Hampstead, Clifton, Poynton Bowdon and Beeston.

In September 2007 Tempest moved from being a clothing provider to a sports brand with the launch of a fantastic range of RECOIL hockey sticks. The sticks have been a huge hit and in January 2008 they launched the LowBow, HCT and X-Ranges!
This launch brought the stick range to 12 sticks with over 100 different options on weight and length.

You can visit their website and online shop at: http://www.tempesthockey.com

Best Regards,
Steve Cachia

It's one thing i wanted to mention. What makes FHF different from other places is that we don't mind putting someone down (if they deserve it!), even if they are the sponsors. Everything is as usual and please feel free to express your opinions about brands!

I'd like to add that as Tempest we're delighted to help support the FHF, and in no way do i or tempest want to stifle discussion either positive or negative about any brand including Tempest.
I think Steve has done a great job bringing together this community and Tempest is fully behind is belief in a global open platform for people to discuss all aspects of the sport that they love.

I thought the Tempest sponsorship of the tournament at Three Rock Rovers was good but i felt that you needed to have examples on site for all to see and to evaluate. Customers need to see the product and i know one team had the goods but no one else could test the products over the weekend.
I hope this changes for next year.

In a manner of speaking yes, i am looking at setting up a special offers section on the site purely for fhf members where each month we'll come up with promotions on certain products. Hopefully this should all be up and running by early October (at the moment we're kind of tied up ensuring all the teams have their kit for the start of the season! Wink )

Snoody don't worry we will be adding far more for GK's soon, the shop is relatively new so we are adding new products on a daily basis.

Grumpy i agree with you, i have to admit that the whole 3 rock tournament came up on us very soon after we had signed the deal with them so we didn't have time to properly prepare. Hopefully things should be alot slicker going forward.
