Does anyone show videos of hockey matches when coaching children? I think it would be a good way of increasing their interest in the game as it is rarely on TV. Do you give examples of positioning and tactics etc?

I wasn't thinking of videos with the children in them tho that's a very good idea!
Rather videos from the olympics and world cups of top level hockey. So that they can see the sport being played at the highest level and give them something concrete to aim for. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with this?

I used "World hockey highlights" from FIH to present the sport and they liked the speed and the dragflick on short corners

You have to be VERY careful about video's with kids.
You start filming your kids . . . . . Parents needs to know you are doing it.
What happens to the video's after you have filmed them.

A bloody nightmare for coaches nowadays.
