Well you're getting a higher level of protection with the TK so I'd probably say so.

Failing that, there's always the option of mixing Robo kickers with Cloud LGs, but you're getting very high protection kit so I'm sure you'll be happy with your order  Wink

i got to try gx1, gx1+ and the softies in a store here in Belgium and personaly i liked the feel of the softies and gx1+ more then the gx1 the softies was really nice because the feel was very light the gx1+ was nice because it remembers a bit of how obo feels it got the same premoulded feel but the downside is that the pad is probably even more hevy than obo pads

I think the "weight" of the GX1.0+'s is just because of the moulded feel, Nic. I've put them on the scale and there is no difference in 'em. In fact if you want to put together a lightweight kit try the robo hi-control kickers and the hi-rebound pads!

First, get some hot melt glue. Pull the straps so the female section of the buckles are hard up against the back of the pad(s), lift the loop of strap across the front of the pad and apply some hot melt glue between the strap and the pad. pull the strap tight again setting the strap into the glue against the pad. This gives the straightest 'pull' at the male section of the buckle and correspondingly the best grip of buckle to strap. If that doesn't work well enough.... put the pads and kickers on and adjust the straps for comfort, mark the tail of the strap and the active part (pull the strap and mark where the loose bit touches the tight bit) remove the gear and with a strong needle and thread put a few tacks to hold the two together.
