Hi fellow FHFers.

Having lost my way to the forum for quite a while now(At least 3 PM's from the admin, reminding me I have been missing for a ages) I thought I would let everyone know (hopefully) I'm back and hopefully be contributing once again in a positive way.

Cheers for the welcome back guys

where've you been bud?

You name it, in the uk and i have probably been working there or near there since I have been away. Also had a quick jaunt to Gibraltar with work for a week, so work has had me fairly tied up and staying in hotels without free wireless has meant no access to come on here.

There are some other reasons, personal, and the fact that I have been trying to find my love for hockey as I started to fall out with it during last season and over the summer.

there is also the fact that I see friends of mine on here personally attacked because people don't get their own way or want to shout and blame others for something that happened to them in a game sometime in the past.  Those people who know me, will see that I'm more accustomed to knocking heads together(something you cant do on the tinternet) than writing a retort(with my poor grammar and spelling) to someone who has there knickers in a twist over nothing.  It used to get me frustrated that in my limited spare time I had to witness this so decided the only way to go was to stay away for a time until I had calmed down and didn't get myself banned for saying something which I may or may not regret later.

Anyway I'm back now

I think our boys took a good beating that day if I remember correctly, as they did this season.  I normally umpire so only watch a few of our men's 1's games during the season

zippytime good to see you back, I have missed the banter as much as I enjoyed the race to 1,000 Happy To be honest I'm a little sadened about your reasons to take leave from the forum, however it is a pleasure to have you back. I'm with you on the way things should sometimes be handled, but yes you would risk breaching forum rules and if I did it, well it just would not be cricket Sad

I missed the banter too, and the race was good.

To be honest the main reason was being away with work but the other stuff just stopped me coming on in what little spare time I had left. hopefully i will have more time to post in the future  Happy
