If your helmet got damaged, I'd start thinking about a new one. They're tough and durable, but ignoring signs of potential failure is a sure way to lead to injury.

I got the red PE one at the bottom of the page... I know its not a ck, but my folks cant really afford one a the mo, plus its a damn site better than the slazenger club I have just now. (had a look on the obo page and it is a cloud/robo helmet, so it should be up to the job hopefully!)

Especially if im paying indoor at National 2 level this year!  Happy

anyone used the PE helmet??

I thought the PE helmet was for juniors Confused  the Cloud helmet is a PP helmet

"This particular OBO helmet is NOT safety tested. It is designed for use only by players aged under 13 years. It is not suitable for use by adults. OBO makes no claims as to its protection performance"  from  http://obo.co.nz/#Products/OGO  product 740

ok, the Poly E helmet is OGO, the Poly P helmet is Yahoo/Younger cloud users, the PE Helmet is cloud and is not the same as the Poly E helmet even if it is easy to get confused.

I know it's so annoying!
But do they do custom orders? Because can't they make any combo of SP legs if they have that colour? Can't they do the same with Gloves?

hargo i think the problem is that they may not have the right denseties on the foam for the gloves and they dont want to have to order millions of different colours and denseties

I've got my blue/black LHP good times. Just need to fax the details to obo on monday and then it should be on its way to me.

For those worrying Mike said that he had been busy but he was working his way through it. Or something close to that. But give them a phone. They can't delay getting back to you then

I think it is probably something that will come up in the future. TomorrowToday also make aero cricket pads (based on the technology they got from keeper pads) and they are soon to launch a full customisation service.

Can't see any reason this can't be transitioned over to the hockey side as well.

don't worry there is a few days gap between the emails you'll recieve, there is general day to day running of the company to do as well!

I had 2 days after confirming my order before confirmation of payment and then another 4 days before confirmation my order had shipped

For those in the UK - this may just kick in a bit late, depending on when your stuff arrives....

UK govt cuts web shoppers a break

Quote
The banks may be unwilling to pass on their tax breaks, but at least the Government has one for internet shoppers importing goodies from outside the EU.

From next month [December 2008], Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will only demand import duty on goods valued at £105 ($156/€123) or more. Currently you must – or should – pay the duty on anything you bring into the UK from outside the EU with a value of £18 ($26/€21) or above.

For example, buy a digital camera from a US website for £104 next month and there won’t be a penny of customs duty to pay. Anything more expensive will see you unable to retrieve your items from customers officers until you pay the duty, which varies according to the item and its value.

The Customs Duty changes take effect on 1 December. Everyone’s other favourite tax – VAT – remains unchanged, unfortunately, and still needs to be paid of applicable imports costing £18 or more.
