Hi all,

I've been reading FHF for a few weeks now and decided to plunge myself fully into the world of FHF.

Over the last few weeks I've read a number of threads and thought that I would like to put my 2 cents into the discussion, but never got round to it.

Anyway, here I am.

Both my parents played this wonderful game so I've been around hockey for ever (first time I was in a hockey club I was 3 weeks old!).

I'm now 35 and have come to the end of my playing career (more of that later) and have seen a lot of things change in the game so hopefully will be able to bring so valued input to the discussions, as well as starting a few threads that will hopefully get you all banging away on your keyboards.

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Welcome to the forum, now you have finished playing, are you going into coaching, umpiring, etc to keep in contact with the game.

Hello again.

In answer to the couple of questions posted:

1) I was an outfield player, mostly defensive - CH, FB, HB or SW.
2) I'm not doing anything with hockey right now. I have had to retire through injury and am still coming to terms with the outcome.

This second answer is going to be one of the topics I was going to raise in a new thread so I'll go and post something now.
