i have never heard about trials but if they do i recon you have to wait untill next summer before the new season

yes nick I know that the trials are next summer I am not speaking about now of course.
Sure all the Hoofdclasse teams have trials..just I want to know the dates..
Also some teams in Belgium have the same trials as Waterloo Ducks..

All Hoofdklasse clubs have trials, the problem is getting in there. Most of the clubs have trials by invitation, i.e. you have to be invited to participate in the trials. If you have a good resume and are willing to spend a great deal of your time to the club, and show this willingness!, you might get a chance. Most clubs are open to foreigners, if they have the potential for the level of play.
The best time to start showing your intent is somewhere around March through May. That way you have time enough to negotiate your options and participate in the trials. A good place to start is www.hoofdklassehockey.nl They have a section with players looking for a club and vacancies.
