hi,
I live in denver colorado and hockey is actually pretty popular here (suprisingly). The problem though is that ther is no field hockey store that I know of near me. This means that I have to get all of my equitment online and I can't test it out. I need input because without testing it out I have no idea what to get. I play centre forward and I want a lightweight stick that has good power. I am looking for something in the intermediate/advanced range.

How much are you looking/willing to spend ? From the sounds of it the following would be my advice

Grays - GX 4000 or 5000
TK - 2 or some of the cheaper 1 range
Malik - Assassin, Mortar or Sand
Adidas 4.1 or 3.1

I'm not so sure about other brands but others have a better insight in to those. Keely sells sticks in Canada so she may be able to ship one to you, it would be worth sending her a PM.

Kookaburra Stinger would be good for you, nice tough, skill zone ensures good control, nice and light
