Just wondering what peoples thoughts are about the new rules in the EHL, are they a good thing for hockey? IMO the 'self pass' on the free hits really speeds up the flow of the game, as its TV i think thats what they were going for? I think the video referal is a bit pointless as out of all the games i watched on Eurosport (which was as many as i could fit onto my sky+) only 1 or 2 decisions were changed and none of these were of any consiquence! I suppose its a testiment to the quality Hockey Umpires? Ne other rules u didn't like? What other "innovations" could/will they bring in?
