I'm not denying anything... What do you think I'm suddenly denying?

I'd also like to see the Indian's version of this... not just what Pakistan officials say the Indian officials have said.

"And, I'm going to regret saying this - your Indian sources you've posted are still quoting Pakistan officials. There's no quote from an Indian offical."

The above is enough reason for me to be suspicious. That's your quote. What the hell will it take for you to believe that the Indians and others are citing security concerns as their main motive? Isn't it obvious? Why do you have to question it? Can't you for once just stop arguing? Can't you just for once accept my previous comments? Why do we always have to disagree in matters that are so clear and obvious. I just don't understand... It almost seems like a conspiracy to me.

This isn't just pakistan this has happened to. Many countries that have conflicts or have had conflicts are affected in sport. Countries tend not to want their national teams or players going somewhere that if they are killed or injured it would be a success for those causing the problems in the country.

And Philthy said that because she knew the type of responce she was going to recieve. Or at least that is what I'm reading. And I'm sorry if that isn't what she meant.

I've already stated the difference between Pakistan and other countries. This conflict was imposed on Pakistan. That is the main difference. I'm not even going to argue about that. Of course, I understand that countries wouldn't want to risk their players etc. That makes perfect sense. However, what has Pakistan done to deserve this? Being an ally in the WoT? Playing hide and seek with terrorists for the pleasure of a few Western countries? My solution, quit the nasty and illegal war which has cost Pakistan everything. Can't I just state my opinion on this important matter? Yes, even sports has been impacted due to this illegal war. It irritates me that these very same countries that call Pakistan an unsafe destination are the very same nations that are supposed to be an ally in a war. How hypocritical and ironic is that? To you as an outsider it may not mean a lot, but to me it does. It's after all a country that I have roots in. Don't wonder why I'm so agitated... I have every right to be so.

Well the last 34 years of military rule havn't made them many friends. Their relationship between the USA and Pakistan goes back much further than the current WoT. The soviet war in afginstan where the USA pumped billions into Pakistan when they agreed to help fight the Soviets. Then after a decade of US santions the current Gen. came to power the US once again supported Pakistan in return for support. Even if Pakistan quits the war there will still be problems with militants wanting revoulution and a new goverment. The north west is affected by the taliban. There is a seperatist campaign in the south western Balochistan province. And with secterian and ethenic tensions who can blame other countries for not feeling safe when this is what they see?

Spot on Pat - that's exactly what I meant!

And RehanButt, I'm not suggesting that it's not because of security concerns - but it would just be nice to see the Indian's take on the situation.
I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm asking if it's possible to get a view of the entire situation from both sides.

Why do you always have to be so aggressive and assume everyone's out to get you? Why does every post you make sound like you're spoiling for a fight. All I, and Spunko (Can't quite believe I'm agreeing with Spunko on something  Wink ) asked was to see the Indian team's side. Why do you take that as a personal attack?
