Ever time i try to login with my normal user name i get internel sever error 500..

I can't do anything, until  i delete the cookie and it makes me a guest again.

So i got annoyed created this temp account so you can delete it please when my normal account: "Gabz" works again...

Where abouts are you from, who is you're ISP ? I'm sure neo will do all he can to sort it out.

Australia ISP Westnet. POP would be NSW.

The only thing i can think of in my user settings was i was playing with the time offset.. maybe that caused the error ?

This new account seems to work for me fine. from the same computers the old account was working from.

Tried suggestions..

Except another computer.. through i did try from uni the on Thursday before i posted here and it didn't work I'll try another computer soon when i get out again.

The only think i can think off in is the time offset.

Are you able to go through the database and reset that value to 0 ?

Gabz, You will have to PM steve & he will need to do this for you, as it may require direct access to the sql database with PHPmyAdmin (which I don't have - that is: the direct access to the host server)... the forum errors are definitely indicating something awry with that account and the forum.

If steve can't fix we may need to delete your old account and rename the new one to the old account name, or something similar.

I also reset your Time Format

The following are now unticked (not sure which ones you had ticked)
Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)
Show board descriptions inside boards. 
Show child boards on every page inside boards, not just the first. 
Don't show users' avatars. 
Don't show users' signatures.  - You did have this ticked!
Return to topics after posting by default. 
Don't warn on new replies made while posting. 
Show most recent posts at the top. 
Show most recent personal messages at top.

I have also had the same problem for a while now . I'm sure i have the same message when i try to log on as gabs did;

while we are on the subject a few weeks ago i was having trouble getting onto the forum as well. sometimes it would load the main page, sometimes not, i would never get to a second page though.

It came up with the same error message as when we were having sever problems a while back and nobody could get on. lasted about a week. was it just me? if so then thought you should know
