i'm getting a new stick, considering a voodoo punisher code red, one of the nedstars or tks at around the same price.

i've got a quite old tk at the moment and i'm a defender.

Are nedstars the Uber funky Graphics ones?

Tk's are usually sound, voodoos aren't bad, but as anyone on this forum will tell you...

It's all down to personal preference  Yes Yes Yes

It completely depends on which Nedstar and which TK and which Voodoo - and what you like about each. Good luck and if you end up going with a Nedstar in particular, make sure you post a review. It's a lesser-known brand (I've only gotten my hands on one model and thought it was interesting enough that I'd like to hear about more) and I'm sure lots of members would appreciate hearing more about it.

(Disclosure: my company sells hockey equipment in our local area, including Voodoo and TK but not Nedstar.)

I use voodoo omen gold. The curve is very good.Hitting and cutting is very easy. However the stick is quite hard so prepare for the vibration

i had one of the old voodoo blue truth with the banana head shape.

was really good for close skills, wasnt particularly impressed with the hitting though, thought that the stick vibrated lots and was very stiff. But then i could have been using it wrong  Lol

They're not designed for hitting in nails!

Unless Voodoo have had a massive revamp I wouldn't touch, had a Voodoo silver paradox absolute shocker of a stick, terrible vibrations on every hit and trapping was a nightmare

I had a Voodoo Code Red and thought it was a great stick. Good for hitting, pushing, trapping and skills (well what limited skills I have)

Although I would say I bought it last Christmas and it broke at the end of October which is not that long a lifespan. A friend also had the old Paradox which I believe is basically the code Red (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) and his broke within a couple of months.

Mayby just bad luck and coincidence but thought I would say.

my voodoo precision black broke in less than a year too... voodoo on voodoo sticks?

anyways, from my experience with voodoo sticks and tk sticks i would recommend you to try out the voodoo code red or maybe a tk cx 2.0
