whether the name is right way up or not isnt dependant on which end is at the top of the stick, it depends on which way you apply the grip (i.e. clockwise looking down the stick or anti-clockwise.

Yes but to wrap it that way, you either have to to turn it over or upside down.
So the name would either be upside down or not show at all.

i used to get towel grips from a friend that plays badminton & they came in about 10 foot rolls, got it for around £12!

now i use tape actually. not tape as in stick tape but tape that's a bit like plaster but it's softer & it's white.  i put a dita comfort (the shorts blue or orange one) grip on top of the normal grip then add two layers of my tape & i love it! have done this for the past 2 seasons #7 will do for the forseable future. i will post photo's when i put a new grip on when I'm home, the one on my stick looks a bit dirty seing as it's near the end of the season.

I as well as most people in new zealand use white adhesive medical tape. It's really good in the wet and super comfy.

Kau,
I haven't (yet anyway)

but I use a kick boxing wrap on my nano, over standard grip.
I put the gryphon standard grip (brought seperately) on top of the standard grip on my Sachin - Red Poison.
On my Kookaburra cuba I use a dressing robe belt (towel like strip of material) nice and meaty- over top of standard.
On my Tk Cx1.0 is use plain medical tape, not to grippy, covers standard grip nicely.
and finely my voodoo predator is wrapped in a plain white bandage, double time to stop the grip underneath from being seen.(cant ruin the bling factor)!!
 Tongue

And yes I know, I have too many sticks...

hey,
my chamois grip on my stick has worn down on both sides and needs replacing. i am planning to choose a non shammy grip and was wondering what people would recommend in that department?
cheers Happy

If you do buy another chamois its better to douse your grip with a bit of water cause the grip lasts way longer and feels better Wink

I think I did have the grip upside down Lol. I found some conclusive evidence to my error on the malik website. If you look at the malik comfort grip under products, there is an image showing the top of the stick wrapped in the comfort grip. The ribbed bit is definitely at the top. My friend also bought this grip, and after trying it the right way up it does make sense to have the ribbed bit at the top Yes.
