Hi Umpires of FHF,

As you may know NE14HOCKEY is running a World Record Attempt for the Longest Outdoor Hockey Match at Beeston on the Bank Holiday Weekend. We are in need of match officials in the form of umpires and witnesses.

If any umpires here or if you know of umpires who would be interested in taking part (you can collect sponsorship like the players, going to Cancer Research) please point them towards the WRA2009 Website for the rules etc.

Good Evening to you all,

Is there anyone willing to throw their hat in the ring "so to speak" for umpiring the World Record Attempt Match?

Ditto, but expect to be at Southgate's tournament rather than in Canada.

I'd love to.
But... A) I'm only 15
and B) I don't even have a level 1

Sorry, but I wish you the very best of luck.
How long will the match be?

SLM285

Edit.
If I had a level 1 could I come and do it? or not?
Because I really would love to.

We've had lots of interest from Umpires outside of FHF but as always interest doesn't always lead to anything so once again I'll ask the question?

Any of you lovely bunch  Wink fancy helping out? You can be sponsored like the players and we're going to try to get you shirts too!!

^^ Notice the charm offensive is now in effect

Would be a great way to blow the dust off your whistles for the new season and with the 6's going too you can umpire as much or as little as you like...

Its all in the name of fun and raising £10k for Cancer Research!
