OK, can't believe I already have 6 people on a course I haven't actually organised as yet, but clubs need umpires and so I now go on to my ?? level One Course!

So here we go, I have now confirmed the details and they are below....please pass on to your clubs, interested parties.

With a record number of attendees and no one actually failing the written multi-choice exam, we have a good record of getting you through the course and then it is down to you to get your experience and telephone us to do your practical examination when you have completed the three games on your card.

The next course details are as follows:-

1000hrs to 1800hrs

£45 per person including Buffet Lunch (The price is to be confirmed)

England Hockey will provide a tutor and all paperwork concerning the course.

All persons entering will have to sit an exam at the end of the day and then within 2 years to partake in your practical test to gain their level one status, after you must umpire at least three games before you are tested for your level one badge.

you need to look on the England Hockey website for all the courses.

the next one at Didsbury Northern will not be until March/April 2010
