its a pain living in a small hockey nation (Singapore)
need to replace my legguards. the local hockey shop only has expensive OBO (which don't fit my legs) and Mazon legguards.
getting from anywhere else is prohibitive due to postage costs.  Sad

Surely they'd fit in a smaller size?

What do you usually wear, in what size and how long are your legs/total height?

If you're used to Grays then I believe several other manufacturers use similar moulds so you may have an alternative - others may be able to elaborate on this.

its more a problem of having legs like tree trunks!
a few rolls of tape should get my current legguards through the season though.

I'm 38 years old so trying getting into representative teams is long behind me

Well yes there are probably young keepers in Singapore, but they wouldn't play for a veterans team...

Mazon will probably be my choice but will try to get through the season with my old stuff. its only 11 matches here and I'll share those with the other keeper so should play around 6 matches only plus the odd friendly and tournament

starting to feel shots through my kickers so they will also have to go and I like top of the range stuff on my feet!

well my right legguard had to be held together with tape for yesterdays match. My first league game for 5 years (a big achievement considering I thought I would never play again after knee surgery in Jan 2004). a 2-2 draw which was a damn good result as the opposition had an average age below twenty and we had an average age around 40

considered trying to glue them back together but instead opted to purchase a pair of Mazon Z-Force legguards from a well-know Aussie online shop. would have liked to get knew kickers at the same time but they will have to wait for financial reasons
