my idea is:

    Women                  Men
1. NL                         Spain
2. Germany                 NL
3. England                  Germany

I would think that England could snatch at least a bronze in both if they play to potential. Other two in Womens top three will be Germany and Holland. I take Spain and Holland to go into the Mens top three alongside.

But I hope Scotland do well.... Rolleyes

Men: Germany or Netherland
Women: Germany or Netherland

Cant see how England should be in top 3 men , even performing their best that they have showed in latest years.

Men will be belgium and women will be france.

Both are ... optimistic to say the least.

Can't see the French women winning, since they are not even in the tournament!  Lol

Belgium should hopefully do fine, they are aiming for the bronze medal like last time though they realise the competition got even tougher. However, since the Olympics quite a few more experienced players quit, leaving gaps to be filled by younger players. So we'll have to found out how the team performs (results in practice matches were variable) and whether they can handle the pressure involved with playing a big tournament like the EC.

PS: anyone know if there's a fantastar league on the way, like last time? Can't find anything on their website...

9:0 for Netherland

The players of netherland play all in Hoofdklasse. The level of Poland is maybe 3 League.
I speedness, technical skills of netherland were to big for Poland. In first half 2:0  was a good result for Poland. But the netherland played with the same intensity like first half and than the Condition of Polish team was empty.Nevertheless is was big Signal of the netherlands to the other favorites of the cup.

On the cup: Group A has 2 worldclass teams with netherlands and spain.
group b has germany and 2 very dangarous teams.

Good start for both England and Holland in their group womens' matches. Tough match for the Irish unfortunately in their first game v Germany and Scotland lost out 3-1 to Spain. I just hope they weren't left exhausted since the next game against Ireland will decide whether they are in the relegation places.
