Keep the topics coming, Magpie has asked steve to set up a sticky and we'll start farming out basic topics once we've got that set up.

Kit maintainance and indoor sections are great ideas that I hadn't considered.  I also think some advice to coaches about how to coach beginner and intermediate GKs as well - how to include them in exercises and make sure that they are not left on the periphery is something that I often have issues with.

Depending on the material that people produce, I think we aim initially for a text based manual (so yes, a pdf) and then look perhaps to convert it to an html resource that could be set up as a web page or distributed on CD (with videos and diagrams where relevant).   The problem is with using videos or photos we would need approval from the person who owns the copyright, so if you have anything like that, please see if you can track the source down.

I think she means the accent of someone who didn't have to look up what "chuffed" means.

I think what's being discussed here could be accomplished by a group of goalies, coahces, writers, and editors (many of us here being able to fill one or more of those roles.

I just set up a wiki for the goalkeepers' guide.  The URL is http://fh-gk.pbwiki.com/

You can view it without a password. The PW for editing is "stopballs" (without quotaiton marks).

Most of you have more experience in goal than I do.  I do have some experience editing and publishing.  I'm glad to help this thing happen if a bunch of you can contribute content.  What do you thjink of the Wiki as a way to make this happen?
