Yep I'll be there.  I'm one of the Officials at the event.

gk09, you might find this post that I put up earlier today useful if you've never seen indoor before.  It sets out the major differences between indoor and outdoor.  It's from an umpiring perspective, but should still be helpful.

Guys - be sure to say hello!  (Perhaps I should ask them to put "Redumpire" on my ID badge for the event!?)

very german inspired
the UK game is othen very outdoorish and the scottish champions plays man to man defence or a strange zone defence while most eastern teams plays  a weird form of xone defence but sometimes swithes to man to man defence but their game dont remind so much of outdoor as the UK teams does

From an English perspective, I think that may well be because we play so little indoor hockey.

What interests me is that the England squad for this tournament is very different to the outdoor squad.  Is playing it that much different that the best outdoor players aren't necessarily good enough to play indoors? Nic do you have a very different team indoor to when you play outdoors or is this just England's choice, in the same way there's a big debate in cricket over do you play your best cricketers or do you play specialists depending on the form of the game?
