Thought I would start a record of this seasons bumps, knocks and bruises.

I offer you for starters one picker up in training last Wednesday. Guess a purist would say I should have covered it with my LH protector, but have full arm protection - which makes me lazy, and old age which makes me slow.

My 2017 bump is hidden and long lasting. 7cm year to my right quad that is being very stubborn to recover.

Concentrating on gym work and keeping out of the pads until I'm sure it's finally recovered

Friendly game the night before a Tournament in Hong Kong. Played 15x15 minute games over the next 2 days thinking it was just a tight muscle

All my injuries going into this first weekend are cricket sustained... played a game in the first team and got peppered by a pace that just dont normally see... so 4 bruises on thighs, one on the side and one on my arm.... wore one in the tin too.
Still, can only get better right ? ;)

Has that hit made you reconsider your arm protection?Guessing you were wearing just elbow protection.

I took a shot to the neck. It hit my Plexie and an odd angle (saving a direct hit to the throat) and glanced up the side of my neck. It was hard enough to daze me a tad but after a minute I was fine. Happened at training last week. Could have been a lot nastier if not for the throat protection!
