    Adidas df24 carbon 2017
    Length: 37.5"
    Weight: 540g
    Balance point: 41cm

So ever since this stick first originally came out in 2013/14 I wanted one soooo bad, but every time I went to the local shop, they were sold out on the first day because they were popular. This time I went in extremely early and after selling an arm and a leg I was FINALLY able to get one BEFORE they went on the rack :D and all i can say is man was it worth it! I will be comparing this to my last stick, a 2016 gryphon samurai

Looks: I personally love the look of this stick, the bright orange, the black grip.. it's a little bit like hockey porn lol

Feel: the feel on this stick is amazing, its still super stiff but soft enough for the ball not to bounce off majorly like it tended to do with the gryphon

Dribbling: at first I found dribbling weird with this stick, I don't know how to describe why, I'm not sure if it was the oval end cap or just the fact it was a new stick. After a few games of summer hockey I've adjusted to it and it's a damn Beauty to use. I can actually feel the ball on my stick unlike with the gryphon, and the bow just wraps around the ball and makes dribbling a breeze!

Hitting: hitting with this stick is amazing! It has power, and it's super easy to hit the ball into the top corners! Obviously it doesn't quite hit as hard as the gryphon but seriously.. what does? Lol sweeping was a lot nicer than I expected, I found it easy to get flat hard passes off

Aerials/drag flicks: this is where this stick excels!! Aerials are so much easier with the adidas than with the gryphon! The thin head makes it a dream! And we'll .. this stick was designed for drag flicking and boy is it good! The bow, concave shaft and end cap just make this thing lethal!!

Overall: so over hear in nz this stick sells for $580, but because I know the shop owner I got it for $520 lol even at full price I would definitely recommend this stick. It's so well rounded and personally I think it's the best stick out there

    I'm in New Zealand too.
    The prices here are absurd.

But I've noticed Barringtons are selling on TradeMe now, at very very good prices compared to Just Hockey etc.

    And any photos?

Guys you can get it from www.rampagesport.eu also.

Our export price for New Zealand is 243.66 Euro (including TNT air shipping but excluding import taxes if applicable) which is roughly equal to 359 NZ Dollars.

    *End of shameless advertising*

Hey just checking isn't this is the 2016 df24 you are talking about not the 2017 one with the new shape/design?

So does anybody own the 2016 and the new 2017 Model with the new head ? Is it worth to go for the new one or better the 2016 one and take the "old stick" discount ? I heard the 2016 one's have some problems with durability, still an issue with the new one ?

    Cheers Tim
