    Hey Tiny,

What area of Glasgow are you base or ideally hoping to find a club? There are quite a few different clubs in and around the city so it will help to know.

better to reply to Issac's message above.
go to a club that gets recommended to you rather than blindly picking from google

Inselaffen, had Tiny said, "I've found the following clubs in my research, any thoughts on them?" you're absolutely right. But c'mon. It's 2012. There's this thing called the internet. If you're able to post on a forum, you're able to search on Google. It's poor etiquette to ask others to do your searches for you, which I'm sure Tiny now realizes, NBD, moving on.

    Hey mate,

I play for Giffnock, based in the South-side of Glasgow. We currently have 3 men's teams, with a wide variety of abilities and ages playing in them. The men's 1st XI currently play in National League Div 3, with the other 2 teams competing in the West District Leagues. We also have a junior side playing in a development league, and 4 ladies team. We're based at Giffnock Squash, Tennis and Hockey club - and use the recently refurbished clubhouse there as our base. Home matches and training takes place on a variety of pitches in the local area.

At the moment, we're just training on a Monday night, currently at Mearn's Primary School (G77 6DP) from 8-10. This is likely to change through the season when the new pitch we're moving to becomes available. Training is taken by our Head Coach, and equipment can be provided if necessary (although I'd recommend at least your own shinguards and gum-shield!).

We're a very inclusive club, and welcome players of all abilities, from absolute begininers to seasoned players, and we're always happy to welcome new faces. If you need anymore information please feel free to get in touch with me - if we're too far away from where you are, I'd be happy to put you in touch with a more local club as I have contacts for most of them.

    Regards,

    Euan.

    Hi Tiny,

There are a number of clubs in, and around, the Glasgow area that might interest you.
Depending on where you are based and what level you are looking to play, you can choose from
    Stepps
    Clydesdale
    Hillhead
    Western
    Uddingston
    Giffnock
    Rottenrow

If I can help at all, let me know...

    Al

Come on Tony, the poster is asking if there are any clubs in a city with probably the highest density of hockey clubs in the world. If they can't use google then the yellow pages would iron them out. All pun intended.

The top Glasgow clubs are in this order:

Kelburne H.c. (league champions for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd Xi teams)
    Western Wildcats
    Clydesdale
    Hillhead
