Oooh a mysterious title, how fun!

Just a little public service announcement, the Ritual Revolution Specialist is coming and its incredible!

I have the pleasure of knowing some high ups at Barrington sports, one of which gets to test all the prototypes that get sent to him. He tends to test them at training, but doesn't let us mere mortals have a go :(

Fortunately for me, my trusty Osaka snapped in half at training, leaving me stickless and in need, which is where things got interesting. My friend who shall remain nameless happened to have a stick in his bag that he was going to test after training, which he lent to me on the condition that I didn't break it!

Plain carbon weave, with a scooped shaft and a slim head, it looked great, just the sort of stick I would use. The pick up was great, aided by the high balance point and the weight of around 530 grams (my osaka was 530 dead on and it felt identical weight wise).

Back into the drills i went, armed with this absolute weapon of a stick. Shooting is a dream, you could barely see the ball (may be due to poor lighting), and it found the corners with ease. Dribbling was sublime. the touch was unforgiving and very stiff, but that is how I prefer my sticks to be. Passing was standard, composition never comes in to pushing really, but the bp and weight so make passing very easy. Flicking and drags were just as god as expected with the specialist shape, again aided by the even weight of the stick. I only got half an hour with the stick so these are just my initial thoughts after a quick use.

If you are lucky enough to be able to drop £300 on a stick when this is released then you won't go far wrong with this twig, but for those of us that aren't in the position to spend mega money, we can always dream.

I mean, I'd be more keen if it wasn't going to be incredibly expensive.

Someone saw the artworks for the full range of braided sticks a while ago, though that video is for the 2016 sticks (check the artwork) and the stick pictured never appeared on sale. I always wondered why they never released the full range at the start. Be interesting to see how they are priced and how it impacts the 95% carbon sticks (unless they just replace them?)

    That was me.
Before @Patrick121916 replied to say it was common knowledge... ;)
