From umpiring I was able to build up quite the hoard of money and bought myself some turf, not much though. I'm the only person who uses it, I'm an attacker playing CF or RW what training is best for me here? I do have a sort of goal to shoot into, it's just a net.

Perhaps get some sort of board, you can just use some wood or something if you don't have enough for a proper rebound board and practice picking the ball off the board.

Sounds good but how does it help improve your game, trapping?

I'd say that one can never be good enough at stopping the ball and so using a board is a good way to help that, besides, without more space, there's not much else you can do I wouldn't have thought.

Okay thanks for that, you're definitely right about never being good enough at stopping the ball, I think I'll run up and down and do it because I need to work on running and recieving

Yard stick is a crowd favourite.

Place a stick on the turf and drag the ball from toe to end cap.

Does wonders for your general dribbling and ball control.

Then time yourself for a minute and see how many lengths you can get.

This would be a great opportunity for short game training. Place a few cones in random scattered positions and then just run around in the confined space. Drag around cones, dribble through the gaps and try not to hit anything. It will help work on hand-eye coordination, reaction time, footwork, back strength, stick skills, and will force you to learn how to look up and survey the area in front of you while dribbling around obstacles.

Sounds, good I had grading last night and they did something similar except over a larger area, in the smaller area it'll represent a more realistic situation where I'm trying to get past multiple defenders that are relatively close. Thanks for the idea!
