    1. Go to http://www.englandhockey.co.uk/
    2. Place your mouse over 'Competitions'
    3. Click on Men's or Women's league
    4. Click fixtures, results & standings.
It took less than 20 seconds...

My post was of course made with tongue firmly in cheek but I think most would agree that (so far) the new system is hugely disappointment in the way fixtures, results, etc. are presented and is a real step back from FixturesLive (which whilst adequate has plenty of room for improvement) e.g. this morning the 'standings' table for men currently shows Beeston and Wimbledon as not having played, whilst the results section shows the 1-1 draw.

Yep, they're aware of that; and of the fact that the tables are not listing teams in the required order (i.e. Pts, GD, GF).

Who checks a league table after 1 game?

    Its a marathon, not a sprint. ;):D

In the results section if you click on the team name (not the +) it shows the players. I assume those registered as transferred. You can work out who has moved into each team if you knew the teams from last season.

Does anyone know the scorers for the Beeston v Wimbledon game? That info appears to be missing at the moment. Making an early start on my programmes.....

Thank you - the results page has just been updated. Must have been some activity going on whilst I was checking.

It's almost as if some of us fed back in a constructive manner that there were issues with the tables etc. and they looked into them and fixed those issues... Uncanny... ;)

If there is constructive feedback being given when will we get back on FixituresLive?

So we the users of this "results service" are the only ones capable of proof reading the tables and pointing out the obvious errors?
SportLoMo have no-one who can do this?
EH have no-one ? - not even the person over seeing this migration.

It's an omni-shambles, utterly pathetic. I would very much like EH to explain why these issues are happening, what has gone wrong and what they are doing to correct stuff - with details.
They want us amateurs to run clubs more professionally, yet as professionals they manage this stuff like ................... can't think of a good comparison sorry.

As you seem to have a direct line into omni shambles central, could you point out the 403 error resulting in a missing image please? thx

Also can't we have W D L like everywhere else ? (not WLD)

can't we have a page for fixtures/results just for one team (as per FL)
can't we have clickable venues (as per FL ... and practically any decent systenm in the last decade)
why do only some games have HT details ?
why can't Brooklands have a 5 goal head start as we travel furthest ?

I am reliably informed that they are working on improving the available website information this week to cover all the areas you have raised, @Thorney, except the 5 goal start for Brooklands...

Can you ask them to add the apostrophe in Men's Hockey League too? I'm disappointed that wasn't the first thing on your list!

Can't we have all the results on an app like this?

It's not just the Hoofdklasse on it. Every league in the entire of Holland is on it. Just imagine the advertising revenue that England Hockey could command if the sponsor knew they were going to be at the to of a page looked at by a large proportion of the English hockey playing public (80k did we decide?) each week?

You mean like FixturesLive? Where I could see all our senior and junior leagues. Just needed someone to persuade some Luddite holdouts to use it.

Any tech person worked out how to embed fixtures into a website yet. Although suspect easiest just to create friendly fixtures on fixtures live then it will sit nicely in the feed with all the other fixtures.

Don't forget, not every league was on Fixtures Live, nor did every league want to be!
