I'm a forward who uses a lot of quick stick skills as well as 3D skills. I also drag flick. I have currently been using an adidas DF24 compo 1, but that has broken along the reverse edge and I need a new stick. I'm looking for a low bow stick like the DF24 but without the groove for the drag flicks as I don't feel it helps my flicks and hinders my slapping. I've looked at sticks such as the ritual velocity, adidas tx24 and the grays gr8000. I don't really have an opportunity to try these sticks, so was looking for any recommendations?
    Thanks guys

Maybe you should look at the mazon slingshot. Would you want a concave stick for dragflicking or normal. I have a Ritual Specialist 95 it is really good for 3D skills and dragflicking it also is concave like the DF24 and has stayed in good shape from since it was launched (9months about) just have a look at all of them. Try it in this template more people will help.
    Position played:
    Budget:

    Style of Play:
Do you hit/slap or push more?
    Do you drag-flick and/or Aerial?
Do you use a lot of close Stick skills?

    Preferences:
    Stick Size: 36.5/37.5/38.5
    Bow: Low(200-210mm) /Mid-Low(210-250mm) /Mid(250mm) /Mid-High(250-300mm) /High (300mm and above) - (also with or without groove?)
Head shape: Hook, Oversized Maxi, Maxi, Midi (with or without a tapered toe?)
    Stiffness: Soft or Stiff
Balance point: Low/High (Balance point is where you can hold the stick on a finger and balance it, measured from the bottom of the stick. Low balance point means a bit more of the weight in the head. High balance point means a bit closer to the handle of the stick)

    Current Stick:
What do you like about it?
What don't you like about it?

Have you tried any other sticks at a shop or borrowed from a team mate?
If yes, What did you like/dislike about it?
If no, Could you get to a shop or borrow a team mates stick to try?

    Hope it helps

If you don't like the groove then just an extra low bow should be fine. Also are there sticks specifically for dragflicking without the groove? I'm fairly sure adidas make xlb sticks but I haven't looked into it much and if you liked the adidas stick then maybe you should go with adidas again and find a stick that's got an extra low bow. https://www.barringtonsports.com/browse/extra-low-bow-hockey-sticks/show/325-0-0-0/153/0/0/0/0/list shows some extra low bow sticks, they don't have the groove but would still work well for dragflicking, hopefully this helps but I'm not an expert on dragflicking even though I'm going to try and become one. Good luck with whatever stick you choose

This would be quite a list for all of them....
Have you looked at the Grays Prowbows? it's specifically isnt a groove but a rail along the top edge of the face to help control the ball through the drag flick but the face is very flat (see the pictures on here). If you are looking for a tick with nothing to aid drag flicking there are lots of options available, Gryphon DII , Grays Jumbow, Beikou Low 90 or 70, MPH Lowbow, so it really depends on what sort of feel you are looking for from the survey above
