Slough Hockey club hasnt had ANY pakistani internationals playing for it recently!
MANI Paa jee tusee always suthee rendey hoo(mani you are always lurking) .i i said players "A" side of Pakistan.I said pakistan's A team not the national team.Mansoor Ahmed was the top scorer for slough club in the league few years back. And he played for pakistan A side.
Rehan, trust me, Mani doesn't lurk! He posts frequently and with maximum impact. He is most definitely NOT a lurker!
.then why he didn't read my post correctly.it's clearly mentioned there
"I myself played at a club in England for two months "slough hockey club" where most of the players were from Pakistan and i found so many Pakistani players who were in the A side of Pakistan."
Ah, but a lurker is someone who reads but doesn't post on a forum, not someone who (allegedly) doesn't read posts accurately!
well i am also posting frequently here these days.i am new here and learning how to start a thread?how to be nice in a forum and how to post nicely in a forum .
ohh then the right word will be "careless" or "confused"
So most of the players at Slough hockey club, originally played in Pakistan, then came over to England?
between 2005 and 2009 .yes.that's what i found when i was there.but i think this is not happening any more.the new players are mostly British born pakistani's and Indians.I mean the 14 and 15 years once.
ok. Just checking. Wasnt that when Slough were a poor team?
i think they still play the same league they used to play "premier division".
and for your information few pakistani's didn't participate this year and their team is relegated i think.
Slough HC play in "Regional - Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon 1".......some distance from the 'Premier division'.
mani ,i never understand that english league system.you check it yourself http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/sloughhockeyclub/s/league-table-30291.html.
I understand it well enough thanks.
Good for you.that must be some rocket science though .you are welcome paa jee.
and i think there is a premier division in every tier of the league.
Slough, who were once one of England's top clubs, are now, sadly, a long way down the league structure. They played in South Premier 2 last season and finished the season with the woeful record of P22, L22, F4, A213, GD-209, Pts0. As a consequence they will be in the Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon league next year. That is four levels below National Premier league, i.e.:
National Conference (3 leagues at the same level)
South Premier 1
South Premier 2
Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon 1
In English footballing terms, they would just have been relegated from League 2 to the Conference.
The league they're in next year could call itself the Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier League if it wanted to. It wouldn't mean that it would be anywhere near the standard of the National Premier, which is the best league in the country.
Whether Slough is in that position because it does not have enough (or maybe even too many?) Pakistani 'A' internationals is an entirely different debate.
ok redumpire all i want to say was that i found some pakistan's A team players there few years back..And at that time they were doing good.
