That's zinc oxide cotton tape. The same as normal 'stick tape' just in its medical guise.

I thought the tan/brown tape was just regular strapping tape?

Thats what I use for my bottom hand.
    Smoother and easier to rotate.

Never clocked that it was zinc oxide tape- that rings a bell from when I've bought stick tape in the past. Thanks!

Would you happen to have a link to the strapping tape that you use?

Yes, the medical version is a smoother surface than the cotton tape.

    Cool, thanks.

Interestingly, it seems as if those players use it as a deadstop material on the shaft as well.

Would people be interested in a grip trial box? with lots of different tapes, a chamois, a towel grip, etc so they could decided on what they like best?

    Thats a long grip.

I usually use the cohesive tape (the red stuff) under the EAB or Chamois.

Makes the grip very very cushioning.
Defending on how loose/tight you grip it.

So I am planning a grip box for the next subscription offering, if people are interested in this can you get signed up by the end of the month to be included in the order, some of the tapes will be roughly 50% off RRP so worth the value.

I also have a question, would you be more interested in having more of the low cost tapes in the box or more of the higher cost tapes (kinesiology tape)? I can either include a couple of the smaller tapes or I can get something like an adhesive foam underwrap that can be used to thicken up a grip.

Personally higher cost. But that's because I already have some underwrap. For most people I think lower cost would be better

I lean towards higher cost personally as £3-4 people might gamble but £12+ I don't think they would
